MAL Board Meeting (via Zoom)

This meeting will be to discuss the HVAC replacement situation. As reminder, we sent a letter to Mosites outlining the need to replace the HVAC system sometime in the near future and suggesting changing the wording of the lease so that the Landlord was responsible for the cost of replacing the HVAC. Mosites replied with a letter indicating they were discussing the problem internally but also pointed out that our unit was now "damaged" and might be allowing carbon monoxide to enter our space. We immediately purchased three CO monitors which so far have not shown any CO in our space and emailed the membership. Mosites sent a later letter indicating they would not be paying for the HVAC replacement but offered us a payment plan amounting to about $800/mo. for a year.
